Tutoring With The Lit. Nanny

*A tutoring consultation is required before tutoring sessions begin.

Our one-on-one tutoring sessions are personalized and individualized to give each child exactly what they need. Our practices are guided by the science of reading. We follow a structured literacy approach that calls for systematic, sequential, cumulative, and explicit instruction in word reading, while also focusing on language comprehension. Read alouds are a foundational part of our tutoring services as well. This results in confident and skilled readers proficient in reading comprehension.

Request tutoring if your child is struggling in any of the areas listed below, has expressed that they need to be challenged, or to ensure they maintain their progress during school break seasons.

Virtual TUTORING

(GRADES K - 4)

If your child has an eventful schedule, or is simply not local to us, consider our virtual tutoring service as an option. We will use online tools to provide the same detail, attention, and results that would be provided in person, but at a time and "place" that is more convenient for your family’s schedule.
